My name is Marnie Watson, and I am an experienced, UKCP-accredited psychotherapist offering individual adult psychotherapy at my private practice in Surbiton, serving the wider Kingston area.

Why Therapy?
Life can become overwhelming for many different reasons. You might be navigating a specific crisis—such as a bereavement or a relationship breakdown—or struggling with long-standing patterns like anxiety or depression. Sometimes, you might just feel stuck or alone without being able to pinpoint exactly why.
I offer a confidential, dependable, and non-judgmental space where you can safely explore these feelings.
How is this different from talking to friends or family? While support from loved ones is invaluable, the therapeutic relationship is entirely unique. When sharing with friends or family, it is natural to worry about their reactions, fear how it might change the relationship, or hold back because you don’t want to burden them. As your therapist, I am here to listen to every part of your experience—including the difficult or scary thoughts you may have never spoken aloud.
My Approach
I believe that the roots of our current struggles often lie in our past experiences. Together, we will build a trusting relationship to explore these connections. By gaining deeper self-awareness and insight into your past, you can break free from old patterns, discover new ways of being, and open the door to meaningful, lasting change.
